I have been a member of a wonderful group of printmakers called the Printmakers Circle since its formation in 2014.

Printmakers Circle is a collaboration of artists who work in a range of printmaking techniques. The Group was founded to overcome the isolation due to the due to the fells, dales, rivers and moors which separated artists across the largest historical county in the country.

The success of the Printmakers Circle over the last ten years lies in the variety of members united by a shared passion for printmaking, and in November 2024 we launched our first book IMPRESSED. It provides insights on the motivations,  inspirations and unique practice of each of the members, with accompanying images of key works and glimpses into studio life. It also includes sections reflecting on the group’s biennial print exchanges and regular group exhibitions.

My personal section of the book focuses on my mono-printing practice and in particular the inspiration and creative process underpinning my portrait and figurative work.
