Caroline Machray: Privacy Policy
The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) was introduced in May 2018, providing you with greater control over the collection and use of your personal data. Caroline takes your privacy very seriously and is committed to ensuring that it is protected by the following private policy; which explains how your data will be used and protected when signing up to her mailing list.
By signing up to Caroline’s mailing list using this website page, you are giving her permission to send you newsletters and updates highlighting and detailing the above events, approximately four to five times a year.
As before, you have the right to control your personal information by choosing to unsubscribe using the links at the bottom of the updates/newsletters, or by sending an email directly to Caroline at carolinejmachray@gmail.com or via her website. www.carolinemachray.com. You can also use these links to update or request a copy of the information that is held about you.
If you have given Caroline permission in writing to join her mailing list at an art exhibition or event by completing a visitor form or similar, then your details will be imported into her Mailchimp account and the original paper record destroyed.
Under no circumstances will any of your data be shared with other organisations.

I review the personal information that is held on my mailing list on a regular basis. I am legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil statutory obligations (E.g. financial data for clients who have purchased work). Your personal information will only be held for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as you give permission
Who has access to your information?
I do not sell information to third parties. I do not share information with third parties for use in marketing campaigns.
Security
Your information is automatically sent to my website, and your data will then be held securely by Mailchimp, who are compliant with GDPR regulations. Mailchimp is a secure password protected site, which I use to manage my mailing list and this service alerts me to all new sign ups and unsubscribes. Any email received detailing your information is deleted once checked.
Children aged 16 and under
Children aged 16 or under should seek the permission of a parent or guardian before providing personal information.
